What Nigerian streetwear gets wrong

July 15, 2026

The demand is there. Instagram proves it every week: young Nigerians are buying, wearing, and posting local fashion at a scale that wasn't possible five years ago.

So why do so many local brands lose customers after the first purchase?

We think it comes down to three things: inconsistent sizing, quality that doesn't hold after washing, and slow or uncertain delivery.

None of those are cultural problems. They're operational ones.

Seeto is building from the operations up: a fixed size chart, tested washes before release, and clear delivery windows. The cultural authenticity is already there. We're just removing the reasons not to trust it.
